How to use a custom crosshair while playing Apex Legends
I have found a way to place a custom crosshair in Apex Legends on PC. You can even use ones from titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive without needing to install anything onto their game.
When it comes to having success in a battle royale title, you do need the luck of the random number generator on your side – as well as having some skills of your own and the right set-up.
Professional players will spend thousands of dollars in order to get a top of the range monitor, keyboard, and mouse in the hopes of getting a leg up but, there aren’t all that many customizable changes that can be made in-game. Players have cried out for custom crosshairs, color schemes, and more, but they haven’t been implemented by Respawn Entertainment.
As the video demonstrates, the crosshair image goes on top of your in-game crosshair so that when a gun is recoiling back to its normal position, you can get everything timed right and start to perfect your aim.
Of course, with this being a third-party app that allows you to change things for a PC set-up, it might be something that Respawn cracks down on if the community voices their concerns about it.
Again, though, this is only available to PC players who want to change things up for themselves unofficially. Whether or not the developers will launch an official in-game change, for both PC and console in the future, remains to be seen.
